Colorado State University-Pueblo engineering instructor Leonardo Bedoya-Valencia has been awarded a $118,800 grant of Simio Academic Edition software from Simio LLC. It will be installed on 60 university computers to support teaching and research in simulation.
"The Simio Academic Edition will support the University's objectives to stay ahead of the technology curve and to meet the demands of next generation technology," said Engineering Department Chair Dr. Jane Fraser. "With software, course development, texts and discussion forums, the software will not only add to our students' knowledge base but critical skill development as well."
