CSU-Pueblo picked 4th in D2 Preseason Poll

The Colorado State University-Pueblo football team earned the No. 4 ranking in the 2014 American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Preseason Coaches Poll, Monday. The ThunderWolves posted an 11-1 record in 2013 and were slotted No. 7 in the final 2013 poll.

Last season, CSU-Pueblo was ranked No. 8 in the preseason poll from the AFCA and spent most of the season between No. 3 and No. 5 before settling at No. 7 in the final poll.

Northwest Missouri State University was named the No. 1 team in the poll after claiming its fourth NCAA Division II national title in 2013.

The Pack were the lone team from the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) in the top 25, but both Colorado School of Mines and Chadron State College received votes.
