PUEBLO, Colo. - The CSU-Pueblo women's basketball team, having qualified for the NCAA Division II National Tournament for the third straight year, will kickoff its hopeful run for a regional title Friday as the Central Region's No. 7 Seed when it faces No. 2 Seed Wayne State (Neb.) in the Central Regional Quarterfinals, to be held at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colo.

The ThunderWolves' seeding was announced Sunday night by the NCAA, which broadcast the first-round opponent of all 64 national qualifiers on their NCAA Tournament Selection Show webcast. The question of getting in to the tournament wasn't an issue for the ThunderWolves Sunday after claiming the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference's automatic bid by virtue of winning their third-straight RMAC Shootout title Saturday - but simply what seed they would receive.

The ThunderWolves bring a record of 20-10 into this year's national tournament and will seek the program's first ever win in national play.

Gametime for the ThunderWolves' regional showdown against Wayne State will be at 1 p.m.
