INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (GoThunderWolves.com - Nov. 17, 2013) - For the third straight season, CSU-Pueblo is its region's top seed in the NCAA Division II Football Playoffs, the NCAA announced Sunday.
The ThunderWolves have been named the top seed in Super Region 4, earning a first-round bye in the playoffs. As a result, the ThunderWolves will play its first playoff game on Saturday, Nov. 30 at the Neta & Eddie DeRose ThunderBowl against the winner of four-seed and five-seed teams in NCAA Division II Playoffs. Kickoff will be at noon.
By virtue of the seeding, if the ThunderWolves continue winning, it will remain at home for the national quarterfinals on Dec. 7 and could possibly have a third home playoff game on Dec. 14. The national championship is Dec. 21.
Season ticket holders will have the first crack at securing tickets for the Pack's playoff run by turning in a playoff renewal ticket form, sent out to each individual ticket-holder earlier this month. The deadline for current season ticket holders to lock in playoff tickets is Friday, Nov. 22. Tickets will be sold in a three-pack (covering all possible home playoff games for the ThunderWolves) for $45. Please note that ticketing procedures for any home NCAA Division II Playoff Games are governed by the NCAA. Therefore, all passes, including VIP and press passes, student seating and season tickets, are considered null and void for playoff games.
Tickets will become available to the general public at 8:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 25 at the CSU-Pueblo Ticket Office, located inside Massari Arena. Reserved seats are $15 and all tickets that had not been previously claimed by season ticket holders the week prior would be available for the game. For more information on tickets, call the Ticket Office at (719) 549-2050.
