CSU-Pueblo burglary suspect arrested

The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office says 27-year-old Zachary Hoffman is under arrest and facing Felony Burglary and Theft charges following a week-long investigation.

Hoffman is suspected of breaking into the CSU-Pueblo baseball clubhouse last Monday and stealing more than $20,000 in property. Investigators say he was later found trying to pawn some of the items without success. Deputies contacted him outside one of the pawn shops and say he was wearing CSU-Pueblo practice gear. They say they also saw other stolen items in his vehicle, which was later confiscated.

Deputies say Hoffman was arrested at his parent's home in Pueblo West, and was booked into jail shortly later.  He's being held on a $50,000 bail.
