The Colorado State University Board of Governors voted to ban concealed weapons at CSU-Pueblo and CSU Ft. Collins campuses, effective Aug. 1. This goes against the wishes of students. Last month, student governments at both universities voted to oppose the ban. However, faculty members voted in favor of the ban.
The meeting was held at CSU-Pueblo Tuesday morning.
Students will still be allowed to carry stun guns, tazers and pepper spray.
