The Colorado Springs Utilities Board of Directors, comprised exclusively of the nine members of City Council, immediately entered into closed "Executive Session" at the beginning of their scheduled public meeting Monday. Members of the public had gathered to hear discussion of the CSU budget and other topics of contention.
After nearly 90 minutes of closed discussion with Mayor Steve Bach and legal counsel, the meeting reopened to the public at around 2:30 p.m.
