CSPD warns of new 'stranger danger' incident

Colorado Springs police are warning parents of another suspected 'stranger danger' incident.  The latest one happened around 12:30 Saturday afternoon at Wildflower Park, near East Fountain Boulevard and South Murray Boulevard.  Police say they were contacted by two teenage girls who reported they were approached by a black man in his late 30s, heavy set, wearing a red baseball cap, red shirt, and red shorts.  The man had with him a leashed black dog with white markings on its ches.  The man approached them as they were in the fenced tennis courts and asked, "Can I join you?"  The girls decided to leave, but as they did, the man reached his hand out and said, "How you doing?"  The girls then immediately returned to their parents' minivan and waited for the parents to return from their run.  The man was last seen walking away from the park, northbound.  He was not spotted when police searched for him.
