Starting Friday, Aug. 15, the Colorado Springs Police Department is participating in the national impaired driving crackdown "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over." The program will last three weekends until Sept. 1.
During that time, officers will work 125 hours to help get impaired drivers off of the streets.
This is made possible through a grant from High Visibility Enforcement that the city was awarded from the Colorado Department of Transportation.
