BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - A Crocs Inc. co-founder faces a charge of driving under the influence.
The Daily Camera reports George Brian Boedecker Jr. was arrested after a witness told police she saw a man passed out behind the wheel of a Porsche Carrera with the engine running over the weekend. Police and paramedics say that when Boedecker got out of the car, which was parked partly on the sidewalk, he allegedly smelled of alcohol, had trouble keeping his balance and was slurring his words.
Boedecker told police his girlfriend had been driving but left after an argument. Officers say they couldn't find the person.
He is free on $500 bond. He has an unlisted phone number and couldn't be reached for comment Monday.
