Crime Spree Investigation Leads to the arrest of a Pueblo Man

Jerry Wade Wolfe was arrested on January 5th by the Pueblo Police Department following a number of crimes committed in several jurisdictions in Colorado. The Pueblo Police Department, Pueblo Sheriff's Office, Fremont County Sheriff's Office, Park County Sheriff's Office, Cañon City Police Department and Florence Police Department are all working multiple cases with Wolfe being identified as the primary suspect. In some cases there are warrants for his arrest on other cases already issued.

Wolfe was arrested by the Pueblo Police Department arrested Wolfe as a suspect in an aggravated robbery and vehicular assault investigation. Wolfe is in custody in Pueblo County on a $100,000 bond.

Wolfe is scheduled to be transferred to the Fremont County Detention Center where he will be served with a $100,000 warrant obtained by The Fremont County Combined Investigative Response Team (CIRT), in conjunction with the Park County Sheriff's Office:

First Degree Burglary - Park County case
Aggravated Motor Vehicle Theft- Fremont County Sheriff's Office
Aggravated Motor Vehicle Theft - Florence Police Department (two counts)
Theft by Receiving, three counts
Possession of an Explosive or Incendiary Device - Fremont County Sheriff's Office
Violation of Colorado Organized Crime Control Act

This arrest follows a culmination of a series of investigations by a number of agencies going back to November of 2010. While a large amount of property has been recovered law enforcement officials believe that more property is still to be recovered and more arrests may also be pending.
