The Colorado State Patrol is investigating alcohol as a possible contributing factor in an accident that killed one man on Friday night.

It happened about four miles west of Walsenburg on Highway 160.  According to the accident report a mid 90s model Toyota Camry was traveling west when it went off the right side of the road, then came back across the road and rolled off the south side of the road.

The driver, 55-year-old Henry Sanchez of La Veta was ejected as the car rolled.  He died at the scene.  His passenger, Tara Bernal, 30, of Walsenburg, received serious injuries.  Neither was wearing a seat belt.
