Couple accused of animal abuse in court tomorrow

A couple accused of starving sled dogs at a kennel in Park County are scheduled to be in court tomorrow.
Samuel and Diane Walker are scheduled to be formally charged at the Park County Courthouse in Fairplay at 1:15pm. The walkers face dozens of animal cruelty charges including two felonies after authorities found 8 dogs that were dead and seized nearly 100 others from their kennel in December.
The malnourished Husky-mix dogs were placed in humane societies around the state and many have since been adopted.
