Country music concert to kick off Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo

A 71 year old tradition kicks off this weekend with a special treat to benefit military families.
Country music artists Craig Morgan, Joe Nichols and Heidi Newfield are the opening acts for the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo with a concert this Saturday night at the Norris Penrose Equestrian Center.
The money from the event will go towards local military charities. Rodeo officials say they wanted a way to give back to the community.
"When they found out it was for military charities these folks said hey listen we're coming in and we want to help, we want to support what your doing here for military charities," Mike Jorgensen, President of the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo.
Here are the details for tomorrow nights concert. It begins at six. Tickets are $30.
The rodeo officially runs from the 13th through the 16th of July.
The Rodeo will also be held at the Norris-Penrose Events Center in Colorado Springs.
