Technology is a major part of our lives in today's world, so, do you think you'd be able to ignore your cell phone or turn away from Facebook for an entire day?

That was just the idea behind National Unplugged Day, which began yesterday at sundown and runs until sundown today.

You're supposed to keep away from the gadgets that can easily grab your attention and focus on other things.

Surprisingly, several people we spoke to said they think it would be easy.

"Pretty easy," said Joshua Quintana, a Pueblo resident. "That's why I just like to go for bike rides. Old fashioned."

"I'm not much of a social network kind of person anyway, so staying off of Facebook, I don't have a Facebook," said Thomas Land, a Pueblo resident. "Staying off my cell phone, that wouldn't be that tough."

They say it may be harder for some of the younger generations that have grown up with the technology.
