Isolated showers and thunderstorms are once again possible today. Showers and storms will develop over the high country today and push eastward over the Front Range during the afternoon hours and eventually push out to the Eastern Plains. A few strong to severe storms are possible late in the day over the far Eastern Plains with large hail and damaging wind being the main threats.
It'll be another warm day today with highs in the 90s along the Arkansas River Valley and highs in the 80s for most other spots. Cooler temperatures in the 70s/80s arrive Monday and stick around through Tuesday. This is also when we have our best chance for rain. The second half of the workweek looks hot and dry though. Keep in mind that the fire danger remains high.
