Expect plenty of sunshine today though it will remain cool out and breezy at times. Temperatures across Southern Colorado this afternoon will be about 10 to 15 degrees below average for this time of year under mostly sunny skies. Winds will be out of the north-northwest at 10 to 20 mph. It'll be another cold night tonight. A light north wind and a mainly clear sky will help temperatures to fall back into the 20s/30s.
Much of the new week ahead looks nice and dry with lots of sunshine around. It will get warmer as well. Above average highs return to the region as early as Sunday with highs in the 60s/70s. The warm-up will continue into the workweek with highs in the 70s/80s Monday through Thursday.
A system will move through the state late Thursday into early Friday. This system looks to bring another round of precipitation over the high country with most areas east of the mountains staying dry.
