Cook sharp in three-inning spring debut

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Aaron Cook pitched two-hit ball for three innings in his spring debut, and the Colorado Rockies beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 4-1 in a game between split squads that was called because of rain with one out in the seventh inning Sunday.

Cook allowed two singles with two outs in the first then retired the final seven batters he faced and got five of nine outs on groundballs.

Melvin Mora, who had been hitless in his first six spring at-bats, had two doubles.

Mark Reynolds had an infield single for Arizona.
