If residents came confused to the meeting of the Green Mountain Falls Board of Trustees, they certainly didn't leave any different.
The Board of Trustees began the evening hearing from El Paso County Sheriff, Terry Maketa regarding the office taking over patrols in the town. And although residents seemed satisfied with what the sheriff had to say, the meeting took a turn that few predicted.
It was revealed in the meeting that Mayor Lorrie Worthey had received a letter from former Chief, Tim Bradley, regarding different employees inside the town government.
Mayor Worthey then posted the letter to Facebook, without bringing it before the board causing multiple trustees to voice their frustrations during the meeting.
The letter will now be sent to the town attorney to go through the proper grievence protocol.
