TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Doctors are reporting more signs of improvement in the condition of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords.
Four days after a bullet went through the left side of her brain, they say she's making small movements on her own, and even tugging at her hospital gown. A doctor says, "She was able to actually even feel her wounds herself."
She remains in critical condition, but doctors in Tucson, Ariz., expect her to live.
They say she's more alert after nurses eased her sedation. She can breathe on her own and respond to voice commands.
