Computer glitch halts county records

A computer crash at the vital records department is currently preventing the public from accessing birth and death certificates. An email message sent at noon Wednesday from the El Paso County Public Health Department says a computer outage is to blame.
There is no word yet on when the systems are expected to be back online.
