In the year since an earthquake devastated Haiti, survivors have dealt with political unrest, flooding and a cholera outbreak.
Through it all, Colorado Springs-based Compassion International has worked to ease the misery for residents of the desperately-poor island.
"Part of our activities in the last year have been to help children and their families deal with the trauma of the earthquake and the trauma of losing children, loved ones and family members," said Mark Hanlon, Senior Vice President of Compassion.
