Interested in knowing what armed service members are doing abroad?

Today at noon, Colonel James E. Rainey, Commander of the 4th Infantry Division's 3rd Brigade Combat Team at Fort Carson, will brief the community on the divisions recent deployment, as well as their achievements while deployed.

The briefing is the sixth such luncheon hosted by the National Homeland Defense Foundation, the Greater Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce's Military Affairs Council, and the Colorado Thirty Group.

The luncheon will take place at the Double Tree Hotel (1775 East Cheyenne Mountain Boulevard).

Registration is currently closed. A spokesperson from the Chamber says they have limited room for walk-ins, but cannot guarantee admission.

The cost for the Community Briefing is $25 payable by cash, check, or charge.
