Dozens of sex offenders have been interviewed as part of the investigation of the death of 12-year-old Kayleah Wilson.

Greeley Police spokesman Joe Tymkowych told the Greeley Tribune that they're checking anybody who is a sex offender within a 100 miles of Greeley. Tymkowych told the paper their search has taken them into Nebraska and Colorado Springs, about 100 miles south of Greeley.

Kayleah disappeared March 28. Her body was found in an irrigation ditch about a half mile from her house nearly two months later.

Her 18-year-old boyfriend faces charges of sexual assault on a minor but there have been no arrests in her death. Police have not said whether Kayleah was sexually assaulted.
