Colorado Springs recall election includes two questions

Colorado Springs voters will be asked two questions in the September 10 recall election of Colorado Senator John Morse, D-Colorado Springs.

According to the El Paso County Clerk and Recorder's Office, the first question will ask if Sen. Morse should be recalled. The question will include statements from both Morse supporters and opponents.

The second question will ask if the recall is approved, who should replace Sen. Morse. Former Colorado Springs city councilman Bernie Herpin turned in signatures to appear on the ballot. If those signatures are verified, Herpin's name will appear on the ballot along with write-in candidates.

Ballots will be mailed to all 69,000 active voters in Senate District 11. Votes can be cast at any of the four Department of Motor Vehicle Offices in Colorado Springs.
