Colorado Springs ranks highest in nation for traffic increase

COLORADO SPRINGS - New research confirms that Colorado Springs has some of the worst traffic in the country.

INRIX, the world's largest traffic research firm, says that Colorado Springs ranks first as the "biggest mover" when it comes to traffic. That means traffic increased the most in the country here during 2013; up 58 percent from the previous year.

Charleston, Grand Rapids, Little Rock and Providence round out the top five.

They rank Denver at No. 9.
