Colorado Springs Police: Woman breaks into an apartment and cooks breakfast

COLORADO SPRINGS -- Officers were dispatched to a burglary early Wednesday, where a woman had broke into an apartment and cooked herself breakfast. 

Around 3:00 a.m., officers were dispatched to a burglary at the Fountain Hill Apartments, police say. 

The resident woke up and found a woman in his apartment. The suspect came in through an unlocked door and cooked breakfast. 

While police were responding to this call, another burglary was in progress at a home on Hutchinson Drive. The resident was able to detain the woman. It was the same female suspect. 

She was arrested and charged with burglary. At first, the suspect, 27-year-old Josefina Gonsalez, lied about her identity to officials. They discovered that the suspect has three felony warrants.
