Colorado Springs Police: Two Subway restaurants robbed in the same night

COLORADO SPRINGS -- Police say two separate Subway restaurants were robbed within the same hour on Monday night. 

The first robbery took place at the Subway on East Fillmore Street at around 8:08 p.m. The suspect displayed a handgun and demanded cash. They say the suspect fled to the west and police were unable to find the unknown man. He was wearing a mask, around 5' 05" and thinly built.

The second robbery took place at the Subway on North Academy Boulevard at around 8:46 p.m. This suspect also had a gun and wanted cash. He was unable to be located. The suspect is described as a white man, mid-20s, around 6'1" and 170 pounds.

There were no injuries during these incidents.
