Colorado Springs police search for kidnapping suspect

Colorado Springs police are searching for a kidnapping suspect believed to be armed and dangerous.

According to police, the incident happened around 12:12 a.m. Tuesday in the 3600 block of Carefree Place when a report came in of an armed man chasing another man. When they arrived, officers found one male victim who said he managed to escape after he and his two friends were kidnapped.

Detectives from Violent Crimes/Homicide joined the patrol and were able to find the other two victims; officers say both were safe and unharmed.

In all, police say their are four suspects in this kidnapping case. Joshua Takacs, 29, Dustin Turner, 26, and Corey Garrett, 24 were arrested. Police are still searching for Stephen Woolwine, 27. Police say Woolwine has an outstanding arrest warrant for kidnapping and should be considered armed and dangerous.
