Colorado Springs Police Make Arrest in Stabbing

Colorado Springs, CO - Colorado Springs Police department arrests two in connection to a stabbing that occurred Sunday night.
Colorado Springs Police Department received a 911 call from a female reporting that she could hear a large fight coming from the third floor of the apartment building located on the 3300 block of E. Fountain Blvd.
Upon Officers arrival a male victim was contacted in the hallway of the third floor and they observed that he had a large amount blood on his clothing. The male victim stated that the incident had occurred in apartment #310. Officers knocked and announced several times at the door of apartment and could hear several people inside, but received no answer at the door. Officer then forced entry into the apartment to check for additional victims. Upon entering the apartment Officers located several people. Officers observed a large amount of blood throughout the apartment, but no apparent victims.
A few minutes after Officers arrival, CSPD was advised that two stabbing victims had just arrived at Memorial Hospital. Both victims had sustained serious, but non-life threatening, injuries to include several stab wounds. The victims were able to identify the suspect that had stabbed them. That person was identified as Daqwan Toussaint. Mr. Toussaint was arrested for 1st Degree Assault. A woman, identified as Brittany Cranmer was also arrested and charged with Accessory to Commit 1st Degree Assault.
