COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Colorado Springs police have issued written warnings to eight anti-Wall Street protesters challenging the city's no camping ordinance.
Police say the Occupy Colorado Springs protesters took down their tents Sunday, but they vowed to come back.
Organizer Kristie Wheeler tells the Colorado Springs Gazette the campers will be back soon and they expect to be ticketed.
Meanwhile, things are quiet at the park that has been the center of Denver's anti-Wall Street protest.
About 20 people were in the park Monday morning, including some homeless people.
At least 47 protesters were taken into custody on Friday and Saturday, mostly for refusing to leave the park.
