Colorado Springs Police are investigating the theft of a $45,000 air conditioning unit. Officers from the Falcon Division began their investigation at 1710 Dublin Blvd. where an air conditioning unit was removed from the roof and rolled into a trash dumpster. When officers arrived at the address the unit was not where it was reported last seen as of 8:30am Sunday.

Another person related to the owner of the unit called police when he spotted the unit in the back of a truck occupied by two unidentified 20 year old males. Police then responded to Western Steel at 3315 Drennan Loop where they then took the two suspects into custody. The names of the suspects are being withheld at this time because of the on-going investigation of similar thefts in Colorado Springs.
