Colorado Springs one of 15 U.S. cities getting ultra-fast internet

COLORADO SPRINGS - Colorado Springs is joining a handful of U.S. cities in the ultra-fast internet game.  Centurylink, the broadband internet and cable television provider, has announced that it will roll out its gigabit internet service to business customers in The Springs.  Centurylink's service is capable of reaching speeds of 1Gbps, or 1000Mbps.  For reference, the average broadband internet speed in the U.S. is 10Mbps.

Centurylink has not announced specific pricing availability details.
