Colorado Springs on cold reporting status

The Colorado Springs Police Department has put the city back on cold reporting status after several accidents this afternoon.

Streets in some areas have started to get icy as the temperature drops.

Cold reporting means those involved in an accident should exchange driver's license and insurance information with the other driver and then report the accident at a police station later.  This is only in cases where no one is injured and no drugs or alcohol is involved.
