A gay pride festival in Colorado Springs is turning 20.
The Colorado Springs PrideFest marked two decades in Colorado Springs with a parade Sunday and a mass commitment ceremony for same-sex couples.
Organizers say they saw a lot of protesters at Colorado Springs gay pride events in the early years. But they say the community is more supportive now. Colorado Springs' PrideFest is the state's second largest, after Denver.
