The death of a Colorado Springs man back in January has just been ruled a homicide by the El Paso County Coroner.

Greg Carter, 43, was taken to the hospital with a head injury on Dec. 23. He slipped into a coma before he could tell anyone how he was injured, and never regained consciousness. He died Jan. 6.

The Coroner's Office ruled the cause of death as severe blunt trauma to the head.

Carter was last seen uninjured on Dec. 22 at 8:30 pm.

If you have information about Carter call the Colorado Springs Police Department at 444-7000, or Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
