Colorado Springs celebrates Arbor Day

COLORADO SPRINGS- The city of Colorado Springs is hosting a ceremony today to commemorate Arbor Day. Colorado State Forest Service and Colorado Springs Utilities will be on hand for a tree planting early this afternoon at 11:00am. The ceremonial tree planting will take place at the Alamo Square Park-Pioneers Museum.

Colorado Springs celebrates its 37th year as a "Tree City USA," and for the 19th consecutive year Colorado Springs Utilities has been named a "Tree Line USA" utility. These awards recognize our City's commitment to maintain our beautiful urban forest and assure quality tree care in our community.
