A Colorado ticket holder won a hefty second prize, but no one matched all six of the numbers drawn to win the weekend Powerball jackpot worth $114.4 million. Saturday's winning numbers were 5-24-25-30-and-49. The Powerball was 23 and the multiplier was 3.
A Colorado Power Play ticket matched the first five numbers only to win $1 million. There's no word yet on where that winning ticket was sold. Four other tickets without the Power Play option also matched five numbers to win $200,000 each. They were sold in Delaware, Florida, Minnesota and Pennsylvania.
Powerball was created in 1992 and launched in Colorado in 2001. It's now played in 30 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
