If you are in awe of Colorado nature photographer John Fielder, now is your chance to pick up some tips from the inspiring artist. Field is leading a two day workshop next month at Winter Park Resort.
Fielder is a nationally renowned photographer, publisher, teacher, and preservationist. His photography has earned him awards from many conservation groups, including the Sierra Club's Ansel Adams Award.The two-day winter photography workshop is open to all levels but is limited to 16 participants to guarantee personal instruction.
The price is $850 and includes workshop instruction (classroom and field), group and individual critique sessions, some materials, some meals, snacks and transportation to field shoots.
Here's a complete schedule:
Day 1
8:30am: Slide lecture "The Art of Seeing." Continental breakfast provided.
12:30pm: Break for lunch, at leisure.
2pm: Depart for field shoot. Transportation provided. Beverages and snacks provided in the field.
6pm: Finish shoot, return to lodge. Dinner at leisure.
Day 2
6am: Meet in lodge lobby. Coffee provided. Depart for morning field shoot. Transportation provided. Box breakfast provided in the field.
10am: Return to lodge. Hot breakfast served.
10:30am: Editing of photos, critique session and student digital slide show.
1pm: John Fielder book signing and adjourn.
