DENVER (AP) - Democrats are launching Spanish-language television ads targeting Hispanic voters in three Western states.

The ad, entitled "Who to Trust", touts President Barack Obama's work on extending health insurance to children, including legal immigrant children, increasing the number of Pell Grants and cutting middle class taxes.

The Democratic National Committee said Friday that the ad would run in parts of Colorado, Nevada and New Mexico.

The announcement comes two days after Republicans began running ads - including Spanish language radio spots - in those states. The ads blame the president for the poor economy and highlights unemployment and the national debt.

The new Democratic ad will also run in Florida and Washington D.C.
