Federal authorities say a Littleton man who was gunned down after opening his apartment door was ordered killed by an alleged drug dealer in Michigan.
Authorities say Franco Gonzalo Sierra-Rodriguez is the suspected hit man and police arrested him Wednesday night in Houston. He is suspected of shooting Joaquin Lucero-Carrillo after knocking on Carrillo's door at about 1 a.m. Tuesday. Police say Sierra-Rodriguez fled in a vehicle waiting for him at a parking lot. Authorities also arrested two unnamed women they say were in the vehicle.
A Colorado man was also arrested in the case. Jesus Daniel Medina Meraz was in Denver federal court Thursday to be advised of the charges against him for his alleged role in the slaying.
