Colorado mom enters insanity plea in baby's death

BRIGHTON, Colo. (AP) - A woman charged in the death of her 7-month-old boy, whose body was found in a Denver-area landfill this spring, has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity.
KUSA-TV in Denver reports (http://on9news.tv/PtAlKl ) that according to court documents, Sharrieckia Page is accused of smothering Torrey Brown Jr. in his crib, placing his body in a book bag and throwing it into a dumpster.
She pleaded not guilty Thursday to first-degree murder and child abuse resulting in death.
