DENVER (AP) - Farmers and ranchers from across the country are joining Greeley-based meatpacker JBS USA to donate 16,000 pounds of beef to the Food Bank of the Rockies in Denver.

The beef will be delivered at 10 a.m. Wednesday. It's believed to be the largest ever donation of beef to the Denver-based food bank.

Food Bank of the Rockies provided 76,000 meals a day last year. It will divide the donated beef among five food banks in Colorado.
