Colorado Lt. Gov. Garcia to be honored by CSU-Pueblo

Colorado Lt. Governor Joseph Garcia, the former President of Colorado State University-Pueblo, will be honored at a Gala in May.

"Garcia will receive a President's Medallion, which recognizes individuals who set high standards of ethics and values to serve as examples for CSU-Pueblo students and the campus community as a whole through their profession, exceptional service, and/or contributions to humanity," According to University spokeswoman Cora Zaletel. "Recipients support the University's continual progress toward future goals and achievements and/or make significant contributions as an advocate of post secondary education."

The President's Gala will be held May 13.
