Colorado elementary school student run over by bus

Authorities say a 12-year-old student is in critical condition after being run over by a school bus.
Denver police spokesman Lt. Matt Murray says it appears the student missed the bus Friday morning and was running alongside it and pounding on the back of bus to get the driver's attention when the accident happened. Murray says the student fell and was run over.
The student was taken to Swedish Medical Center and was listed in critical condition. The student attends Westgate Elementary in Jefferson County.
