Colorado College shuts out Alaska-Anchorage 5-0

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Colorado College goalie Joe Howe made 24 saves as the Tigers beat Alaska-Anchorage 5-0 Friday in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.

William Rapuzzi scored two goals for Colorado College (10-2-1, 7-1-1), which kept pace with Denver atop the WCHA standings with 15 points.

Kris Fredheim, Mike Testwuide and Ryan Lowery scored for the Tigers. Lowery scored on the power play, giving the Tigers at least one power-play goal in 10 straight games.

Alaska-Anchorage (5-10-0, 3-8-0) was 0-for-6 on the power play. Bryce Christianson made 20 saves and Jon Olthuis added four in the third period.

The Tigers have won six straight games.
