Colorado Bike to Work Day happens Wednesday

Colorado Bike to Work Day will happen in Pueblo on June 23 with bicyclists commuting to and from work.
The following businesses and community organizations are sponsoring breakfast/water stops to encourage healthy lifestyle changes and cheer on participants in Pueblo from 6:30 - 9:00 a.m.
- Parkview Medical Center 400 West 16th
- Pueblo City-County Health Department 101 West 9th Street
- Senior Resource Development Agency (SRDA) 230 N. Union Avenue
- St. Mary Corwin Medical Center 1008 Minnequa Avenue
- Greenway Nature Center "Coyote's Den" 5200 Nature Center Road
The Pueblo Area Bike Route map has been updated and is available at the Pueblo Active Community Environments website to help interested riders select a route with less traffic than the roads most people drive. The maps will be handed out at the June 23 Bike to Work day breakfast/water stop sites.
In Colorado Springs June has been named Bike Month, with several events planned.
