Colorado's candidates for attorney general will debate at the University of Denver.
Republican incumbent John Suthers is facing a re-election challenge from Democratic Boulder District Attorney Stan Garnett. Suthers was appointed attorney general in 2005 and was re-elected in 2006. Garnett began serving his term as Boulder County's top prosecutor on January 2009.
The debate will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the University of Denver's Sturm College of Law. It will be the candidates' first debate and will be recorded for broadcast around the state during the campaign.
