Step aside NCAA and NBA, the most thrilling finish in basketball this weekend took place Saturday night in Keyes, Oklahoma. Third grader Austin Worthen of Springfield, Colorado drained a buzzer beater from half court.

His coach and proud dad Adam Worthen emailed News 5 to share a video of the remarkable moment. The younger Worthen sunk the stunning shot at the end of the 3rd quarter in a game between the Springfield Longhorns and the Boys Town Wildcats.

"I was really surprised and I'm just really glad I made it," Austin said.

Adam says Austin has been practicing the shot just about every time he's in the gym.

The Longhorns won 25-4 and finished 2nd overall in the tournament.
