ASPEN, Colo. (AP) - A Glenwood Springs man rescued from a cliff was arrested after authorities learned there were two warrants out for his arrest.
The Aspen Daily News reported 29-year-old Graham Donnelly was hiking with a woman and a dog Tuesday evening in a backcountry area in Eagle County. Officials say they called a search and rescue team after they were unable to get down.
Rescuers were able to walk them down.
Donnelly was arrested after a deputy ran their names through a police database and discovered two warrants for failure to comply with procedures for controlled substances.
Officials said Thursday that Donnelly was released after posting bond.
